This reflection is one of the most gut wrenching I have written. But I tend to seek out discomfort with curiosity. I love to sit with people in their discomfort and I promise if you sit with me through this, I’ll sit with you in yours. That is at the heart of compassion.
I don’t pretend to have super powers and I don’t believe that I am exempt from feeling the woes of this pandemic. There are so many things I miss about being in community. One of my friends was texting with me and he said I miss bar hopping. My response was yeah that’s so 2019.
